Digital Space, in constant construction, an online diarrhea of guttural sounds with airs of T.A.Z. *H. Bey. Open to all online proposals. Freedom of all artistic expression and, more importantly, liberation of the creator and from bureaucratic circuits. Join us!: we will be yours.
DOB — DeOrigenBélico was an independent digital art and research-creation platform founded in Venezuela in 2010. The project emerged in a context where digital art, Net.Art, and technology-based practices were largely absent from institutional and academic spaces. DOB was conceived as a hybrid space: part online platform, part curatorial laboratory, and part cultural activism project. Its goal was to create visibility, critical discourse, and production opportunities for emerging digital practices, while questioning the political, ideological, and technological conditions of image production. DOB operated outside formal institutions, positioning itself as an autonomous space for experimentation, collaboration, and critical thinking.
REVUELTA: (From Latin Revolutus) Fr. Révolte, Eng. Revolt, It. Rivolta. 1. [Figurative] Disturbance, disruption, sedition. 2. A return or change from one state to another. 3. Quarrel, brawl. 4. Point at which something starts to change direction. 5. This same path. 6. Second turn or repetition of the turn. 7. Social movement, usually associated with violent demonstrations by a disadvantaged sector claiming the vindication of their rights.
This Revuelta, of an aesthetic nature, demands an area "of land, of time, of imagination" denied to the unknown, the technological, or the experimental. Art, our most important asset, is present here in the spirit of La Revuelta, in the immaterial spirit of the web that united 25 artists to participate in the first anniversary of this project and as a self-gift: Our first on-site transmission. We have surpassed McLuhan with "the medium is the message," -Brea said- now the medium is the message, the producer, the support, and the mediator of every aesthetic experience.
Welcome to online art: "Here, there, and now."

Santa Lucia is the name given to one of the most popular neighborhood on the modern city of Maracaibo, Venezuela. A small historic enclave dotted with colorful colonial houses, since 2001 serves as a platform through which artists outside the museum context can transform spaces of everyday life to an exhibition space of contemporary art.
